We have stayed in the Finca EL MIRUENDANO for one night, when we needed to find accommodation at last minute after our car got broke out of season in October. Owner of the property was very nice man talking very good English, willing (almost happy:-)) to help and advice. Overall impression from accommodation is perfect, the place was clean, cozy and very nice with possibility to barbecue. Everything in the apartment seemed to be picked with perfect taste (books, furniture, shower gel, coffee..). I can recommend this place for 200%.
My partner booked a two-night stay in this hovel… The room is less than 10 square meters, it's tiny, and they charged us enough to feel like they were ripping us off. We felt cheated. It says they allow pets, but you have to keep them tied to the room with a leash. It only has one electrical outlet and a TV that looks like it's from the days of a Spanish TV show. There are hardly any dishes, and only a microwave and a mini-fridge. It's truly degrading. And don't even get me started on how friendly the owners were to us—note the sarcasm. The bathroom, right next to the double bed with a sliding sheet, doesn't have a door… the smells permeate everything. We will never return; it was one of the worst stays we've ever had.
A wonderful experience, from the first contact with the owner to the last detail of the room. Spacious, with a very comfortable bed, a large shower, and the thoughtful touches of having a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave made our stay perfect. We felt right at home with our furry friends. Thank you, Maria! We'll definitely be back.
A 10/10 stay. The little cottage we stayed in was beautiful. Decorated down to the last detail! María was charming and helpful, a pleasure to talk to. She recommended wonderful places. We were eager to extend our stay. We'll definitely come back!
The house is very nice and well-kept, as are the rooms. The only downside is that, since it's a house, and you have other people staying across the street from you, everything is quite audible. I woke up several times because the couple across the street came and went from the room two or three times a night, and the door was quite noisy when closing and opening. Unfortunately, we also found our sheets were pilled, so we had to sleep on the bedspread. Otherwise, the owner was super friendly; I'd say that alone made it worth the trip. There's no breakfast available, but there's a traditional bar a two-minute drive away where you can get some generous toast.
