The woman running this place is the most miserable and unwelcoming person I have ever met, she was genuinely put out we were staying there. She was really unhelpful and made us feel that we're not welcome. The rooms were very basic but we were not expecting much for the price.

I had lunch here with my family and we didn't felt welcome at all. The communication with the waitress was very complicated cause she didn't speek a word english. We had to pay one more meal then we had, one of the meals was very, very salty so that it was hard to eat it, they had no vegetarian options. The location is not very nice, two tables (inside!) were wet from the rain because the roof is leaky.
We messed up and thought we had reserved here but actually were booked for a place 100m further up the road. We only realised once seated. The very bust waitress went out of her way to find a table for us and never once questioned us not having a reservation. She was literally running off her feet as they were full and understaffed. She was so kind and attentive with great service. The food was excellent and we were pleased that we had mistaken this for where we were booked. They have a pilgrims menu that is such good value as well. We didn't have it but saw others eating it and it looked delicious.
The base for the colombres rally. A great host and fair priced. It's a truck stop so food is hearty and good quantity and quality.
