Casa de Amancio

We booked a night here to be close to the airport to fly out the next morning. It was a lovely place. Our room was nice and the food was good. However, it was advertised as having a shuttle service to the airport and we booked it with them for 7:30 in the morning. Unfortunately no taxi turned up. No one was at the hotel for us to find out what was happening so we had to walk to the airport, in a mad rush, in order to catch our flight on time. It was really disappointing.

This hotel was such an amazing surprise - I booked it because it was close to the Santiago airport, not realizing it was an absolute gem! Even though it's less than a 10 minute drive from the airport, it's in a lovely rural location. The building is beautiful and rustic, with so many nice outdoor spaces/terrace, etc. The staff were extremely accommodating - we had a last-minute request for an extra bed/extra person in our room, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Finally, the food is DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend this place - muchas gracias por todo!

Beautiful place; peaceful. I rested well. Most servers are personable and kind. Santi took care of me during dinner and when I asked for ice for my legs, there was no hesitation. Lady at the bar in the morning was sweet and welcoming; gentleman working there remembered my name and greeted me. Be sure to tip. Not every place here is kind or grateful to the guests, and these people are.

The best!!!! Beautiful property right in the Camino. Friendly staff and a perfect little “patio” to rest your very bones and enjoy a cocktail! Long clothesline out my back door which was much needed. Excellent dining!

Wow! What an absolutely wonderful place. Everything here is done with attention to detail. Rooms are spacious and relaxing, the restaurant is fantastic and this has to be the envy of the region. Service is obviously a priority as we were treated very well. I would highly recommend.
