The double beds in the small room were barely adequate, and the mattresses were incredibly soft—impossible to get a good night's sleep. Apartment 1 was located in an alleyway. The soundproofing was poor; you could hear everything from the guests upstairs. Check-in was at 5 pm and check-out was at 11 am.
We stayed in apartment Martin Vidal 1, the ground floor one. It's like a duplex. Inside, it's very nice. New kitchen. New utensils. Great bathroom. I would add some mosquito repellent outlets. And I would replace at least one of the mattresses, because both of us who were sleeping on it fell towards the middle. Now for the bad stuff. The access. Terrible. Parking is extremely difficult. But the worst part is that to get to the house, you have to go through an alley covered in moss. Perfect for slipping. On the side of the house, there's a ruined building overgrown with weeds. Completely overgrown. If you have reduced mobility, you can't go there. Right in front of the house door, there's a drain that gives off a horrible smell. And one more thing: check-in is until 5:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM. I think that's excessive. We won't be back.
Perfect location to enjoy Luarca, its beaches, exploring the region, and more. Renovated apartment, with new furnishings, appliances, bathrooms, beds, mattresses... everything. We felt right at home and would definitely return if we could.
El colchón de la habitación grande incómodo, el somier de hierro aún más incómodo, da la sensación de que el colchón se va colar entre las barras, como e un reseña anterior dicen que se informa de que el apartamento 3 hay que subir escaleras (corresponderá a un primero pero si el bajo es un duplex en realidad es un segundo) adjunto captura de la info facilitada en Booking. Lo de las escaleras es anecdotico pero la cama de la habitación grande de arriba nos hizo pasar una mala noche.
The apartment isn't bad, and neither is the cleanliness, but the check-in and check-out times are 5 p.m. and 1 p.m., which means you have less time available in the apartment. Keep in mind that accessibility is limited by three flights of stairs, and the mattress in at least one of the bedrooms is a piece of shit.
