This hotel is a beautifully restored old villa that has been re-done incredibly tastefully. The entire team, and especially the owners, were so warm and welcoming. The grounds are luxurious and green, complete with a refreshing pool and a tennis court. Our top-floor room was more than just spacious, it felt like a private apartment. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, a clear sign of their commitment to excellence. This is a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it to all looking for quiet understated luxury. It's also very well located with several hikes and viewpoints within a short driving distance (5-10 min at most).
This is a unique boutique hotel situated at a walking distance from the village centre. The rooms are comfortable and have personality. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast ever - freshly baked cakes and savory dishes, different every morning. The service was fantastic, a friendly family wibe. Would come back anytime - thanks so much for the stay.
Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and first class amenities. It is a shame our room didn’t have a view given the fantastic location of the hotel although the building is a historic one and modifications are restricted. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved our stay here. Incredible property, lovely family proprietors, and charming town! The remodel of the Villa was superb and felt luxurious. We stayed a few days and wish we would have stayed longer! Definitely coming back and recommending to special friends. What a diamond find. The breakfast each day was wonderful and quiet. My mother and I really enjoyed our stay!
Truly personalized service is rare these days and that’s exactly what you get at Villa del Marques. Imagine arriving from dinner and being offered tea and coffee before you call it a night. A lot of thought has been put into the decor, the furniture, and the grounds. It is truly beautiful, peaceful, and very unique. Expect a good night sleep with a choice of feather or memory foam pillow. We stayed at the top floor of the house and loved how quiet it was. The bathroom had a wonderful rainfall shower and was surprisingly spacious. Go ahead and opt for breakfast. It is a wonderful display of all things local: wonderful cheese (Rey de Silo), never to be missed jamón ibérico, freshly baked bread, and plenty of pastries. All served at the lower level of this wonderfully updated mansion.
