Blanco Hotel Spa

Had a very good sleep, the hotel is very good, I liked it. It wss very silent there, no trafic noise.

Rooms are okay but not worthy for the high price they charge. They do not have the basic amenities. Pillows are uncomfortable and staff are not very helpful.

Rooms were nice. But no place to put anything one small place for one pack. Partner had to use chair. Showers were nice, good water flow, but again no place for soap and shampoo. The pool was nice. For a spa hotel you have to pay extra to use Spa and for no smoking there are ashtrays on balcony. People next to us smoked so we had to keep door closed as smoke entered room. We were not able to sit out. If the paper mill is producing paper it smells horribly.

Gathering for lunch of 5 people. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, and the service is very friendly. Quality Asturian products. The only downside is that we spent almost an hour waiting for the first courses to be served. The excuse that the person in charge of the room gave me is that there were many orders at the same time, which I can understand since the restaurant was quite full, but in any case the solution is to put more staff to work instead of having customers waiting a disproportionately long time for food.

The area around the hotel is charmless and plain, the hotel itself incredibly tacky. You could overlook the look, and laugh about it but for the fact that is also a big scam. We booked two nights on our anniversary weekend with the understanding it was a spa. It only had a big jacuzzi like pool for which they want u to pay 20 euros an hour!! Otherwise the outdoor pool water is freezing, the atmosphere plain: not even the lounges had mats so they were hard and uncomfortable. The staff unhelpful and dismissive. Stay clear of this place, not worth it at all, also if you are sensitive to smells is not the place for you. It reeks of Clorox, the whole place. We rather lost the second night and left.
