«Palacio Arias & Hotel y Apartamentos Arias» is a very nice hotel on the coast of Asturias. The hotel has different types of rooms and apartments divided over the very stately «Palacio Arias» and the adjacent new building. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful, whether it is the older gentleman who actually looks more like a well-groomed lawyer, or the young woman who speaks perfect English. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a view of the garden. The breakfast was of good quality. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Navia is a pleasant city that lives more from industry, the port and trade than from tourism. But that is what makes the city attractive to us. Navia is a good base for exploring the coast of Asturias but also the hilly hinterland around «Taramundi».
Great hotel, great experience. The price is pretty high and so it rose our expectations that were fulfilled after two days. The room is clean, the breakfast is very good - taking into account that you can eat fruit and have other stuff than cow milk - there are many rooms you can use for your own benefit. Though it is expensive and I would say we could have had a better bedroom but I guess they have no availability. There are two buildings and we were in the Casa that has two floors of rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. You can park in the hotels parking lot. No specie interaction rather than reception required.
The customer service was awesome. I ws hungry on a sunday evening and had little time to catch my ride. No place was open in the town so this friendly man working there made me a sandwich and brought me cake, yougurt and bananas wich were from the breakfast. Offcourse I had to pay for them but I got rid of my hunger. And I am a big guy so he gave me lots of food. And the breakfast was also very good, rooms were tidy and they had good curtains in them. Price was very affordable in tourism offseason. I can recommend this place to anyone. Because they seem to really care about their customers. Thank you friendly man for making me dinner. I won't forget you.
Friendly & helpful man at the reception on my check in. The price is high tho the room was spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable & spacious. Included breakfast was good too. Asked for “vegan” options and apart from lots of fruit, pan & more they have even had soy milk.
no fans/ air-conditioning screens not effective in reducing mosquitos.
