I don’t even know where to start with this albergue! It’s exactly what my soul and body needed as we were just about to reach 400 miles on the Camino! The building itself was such a nice experience - it was unique, beautiful and very clean. The hosts are so very kind and welcoming. They actually offered a vegetarian option for dinner and breakfast, which is rare and I appreciate it immensely. What I loved the most though, were Luke and Audrey, the cat and dog. We miss home and our babies so deeply. Staying in this albergue gave me a little taste of being back home, especially with Luke’s willingness to receive all of our love and cuddles. It was so therapeutic. He even came to say bye the morning we left, which left me in absolute shambles - but I would’ve paid triple to have it happen again! It was so incredibly perfect staying here and I’d love to come back one day. If you’re on the Del Norte, you must stay here!
Best Albergue I stayed in! This was a real treat, truly sublime. Unique building, very comfortable space to relax post hike, lovely rooms and bathroom, and divine dinner served by the friendly hosts. I felt really at home here. I planned my route around this Albergue and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend :)
A magical albergue, run by a lovely, generous couple. It's beautiful, has homey vibes and great atmosphere. Make sure to have thier delicious dinner (they have a vegetarian option) and breakfast.
In the old station, this loving couple hosts pilgrims. The facilities are fresh from 2019 and bunks downstairs and I assume private rooms upstairs. Dinner and breakfast available and highly recommend.
We had a double room with private bathroom. Hot water with good water pressure. The bed was firm but comfortable . They provided a fitted sheet, pillowcase and blankets. wifi didn’t work great. Dinner and breakfast were provided for an additional cost. Dinner was very good . Huge portions! Breakfast was toast with jam or honey, muffin, fruit, coffee & tea. But there was also food and drink items that you could purchase here. Right off the Camino bike route . Checkout 9am
