The hotel was excellent in almost every way. We stayed while walking the Caino del Norte and the hotel us right on the route. The staff/owner were excellent. The hotel did notify us well in advance after booking that their restaurant would be closed the day we arrived and there are very few other options for food in town. But they did assist us in making the choice to eat in a neighboring town before we arrived. The breakfast was excellent.
We found this place by chance when looking to buy some water. We received very friendly service and came back for a dinner... that was absolutely delicious!!! We had merluza al forno and it was so so good! Carrot cake for a desert and very friendly and attentive treatmen! Don't doubt to stop for a lunch or dinner, you won't regret, 100!% recommendable
We had an amazing stay here at El Fornon. From the moment we checked in (which was amazingly simple) to leaving after breakfast, everything was fantastic. Rooms were spotless and really comfortable. Dinner was delicious, and then breakfast was one the best we have had in Spain.
My lady and I stopped here for one night while on the Camino de Santiago. Our experience was excellent! Jose made us feel at home. The service was exceptional, as was the room quality. The room was quiet, clean, with an extremely comfortable bed. The room also had beautiful views of the sunset. Breakfast in the morning was also amazing. Jose again provided fantastic service, and the food quality was fantastic as well. Next time we pass through, we will be staying here again!
