5 / 5 We stayed at the house for two nights. First of all, the lady was very friendly and explained everything well from the beginning. The room was perfect and the bathroom was clean! I really like the rustic style of the living room, which is what we want to see when we go to Asturias. The garden is wonderful and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you ☺️
1 / 5 Upon arrival, we were "served" by Mari, the hotel manager. From then on, everything went wrong. The room was dirty, there was hair in the toilet, visible dirt on the floor, a torn toilet paper roll used by other guests, mold on the shower grate, twigs inside the drawers... With no intention of doing anything other than requesting a more thorough cleaning of the room, we approached one of the staff, who treated us kindly and sent us to "talk" to Mari. She arrived, speaking to us in a very rude manner, calling us liars (literally), yelling at us in the middle of the hallway, and even urging us to call the Civil Guard, which eventually became a reality. She called the Civil Guard, or so we thought, because NO ONE showed up, and began to tell a completely abstract and fabricated version of what had happened. In addition to the constant disrespect, such as yelling at me and insinuating that I haven't worked or know anything about life (when I've been in the hospitality industry since I was 17).
On the other hand, the room provided did not match the ones offered in the photos on Booking.com at the time of booking. I don't know, but they may have added the photo now, after what happened.
It's a shame that the treatment I received was this, considering they charge €120 for a room, a room in poor hygiene conditions, which, combined with the rudeness and poor manners, leaves much to be desired for a place to enjoy a vacation and for the people who run it. It seems to be an isolated incident and that other people haven't experienced it, but we have experienced this situation.
The location is good, and the hotel seems to be fine. With no other intention than to inform other users of an experience I experienced, I am leaving this review. I don't deny that this may have been an isolated incident, but we just ask for respect and a thorough inspection of the room, which is logical and not out of the ordinary.
