Clean and quite large Albergue. We paid 50cents for a blanket, but we got a pillow and bed cover included. Staff very welcoming and attentive. The only complaint is there was no ventilation in the shower room. Nothing to do with the Albergue, but it was just unfortunate for us that the room me were in had some antisocial older people in there.
Stayed here on my last leg of the Camino. Tucked away from the main road, but within two minutes walking distance.. great facilities - clean showers - hot water. Lounge area, laundry room. Supermarket near by too - There is a fabulous restaurant nearby literally across the road- Okm19.
The accommodation is clean. The kitchen is spacious, but there are not enough cutlery. There are also fewer fireballs. The bunk bed is strong.
Despite the good location, the experience has been catastrophic. In O Pedrouzo, in full yellow heat alert, a room filled with 14 pilgrims and a single fan for all to share. I checked the temperature and I am not exaggerating if I say that it was over 30°. These are not conditions for us, walkers who have been many kilometers behind. It's a shame to end the French Way with accommodation that doesn't live up to what it should. The receptionists, however, have been very friendly and have responded professionally to the circumstances. The only thing that can be saved. Not recommended.
Quality, clean hostel. Room with 14 beds was hot but standard fare. Living room, kitchen and vending machines were a nice bonus. Power point / outlet at every bed is a nice touch. No major issues!
