Very cute place to stay along the camino. Host was lovely and our room had everything we needed for a rest after day of walking. O Pino restaurant was just a minute walk and really good for lunch and dinner.
This lovely cabin has been one of the most picturesque places we've ever stayed. Steeped in history and culture, the place is welcoming, as is its host, who greeted us with a big smile at the door. He offered us beer and provided a complimentary breakfast with all the necessary instructions. The cabin's decor is dated, but it captivates you with its impressive book collection and charming chapel.
I wouldn't go back. The house isn't ready to receive guests. Everything is very old, and the house is full of work utensils. We had to throw the mattress on the floor to sleep peacefully because several of the bed's legs were broken. Everything is covered in dust. The sheets didn't feel clean. There were even cobwebs on the lamps. The only good things were the peace and quiet and the garden, but no, I wouldn't go back.
A very bad experience; the house is not fit to accommodate any guests. It seems to have been furnished with whatever was found (all old and broken) and with little care put into it: furniture that doesn't close properly, wobbly beds, dark areas, shower screens that don't close correctly… After a long day on the road, we found a dirty and cold house, as we had to ask the owner to turn on the heating, and it took quite a while for it to warm up, of course… Juan was very nice, but he only left us enough coffee for one and a half people, and the pellets ran out too… I'm very sorry because the house has potential, but not everything is worth it (and it's not exactly a bargain either).
Juan provides good service, but the accommodation is not in a usable condition. When we arrived, the shower in the room was being repaired; not even the previous occupants' trash can had been collected. The room was littered with chemicals, bottles, and tools, and there was a turpentine smell that gave us headaches. The cleanliness left much to be desired. I think the host is overwhelmed.
