Nice hotel along the camino. Not very much around but the hotel restaurant was pleasant. Highly recommend the empanadas and the caldo gallego. The natillas for dessert were also tasty. As for the room itself, it's quite basic and the bed is comfortable with a standard bathroom. The main drawback, however, was how hot the room was. The hotel rooms do not have air conditioning which is not a problem if there are fans in the rooms, but there were not. Nor were we offered fans despite the staff surely being aware of how hot the rooms can get, making it very difficult to sleep. Worse still, there were so many mosquitoes in the room, which again, could have been solved or mitigated with a fan and anti-mosquito plugs. Recommendation is for the hotel to invest in some fans and anti-mosquito plugs. These are both cheap and work well (yes, fans do not cost a lot to run).
Staff is rude and unprofessional. We even began to wonder if their behavior was discriminatory. Sorry for thinking our American and Latin American tourist dollars would be welcome.

Stayed during our Camino. Staff are very friendly. Room was good. Dinner was ok(wine is not included in the pilgrim menu) but breakfast was a lot better and had a lot of variety and well organised. Special mention about the water on the table for breakfast as this is needed for the final walk and no other hotel breakfast provided this. Also great coffee machine. The location is out of town and on a busy main road. Lots of trucks and loud cars driving past.
