We had a great double room overlooking the street, bathroom down the hall, shared kitchen & laundry. We were able to wash & dry our clothes and cook & eat a nice meal in (as opposed to dining out - again). There are two grocery stores in town and the kitchen was well equipped. There's a nice big fridge to accommodate all the guests. At the end of the day, your overall experience will depend on the courtesy of the other guests on your floor. Be a 5-star guest.
I was on the Camino Primitivo and sprained my ankle. I had an end date set and had a reservation booked with Peregrina Pension 2. The booking site sent a request for a full refund, since the reservation was over 10 days out. All of my other accommodations refunded my money 100%... not here. They simply replied with "Cancellations are not free." It's not like this was week of, or even the day before.
Clean shared bathroom, clean bedroom and full size bed, modern kitchen with everything needed.
Everything was nice except from the madras that was thin and worn out. I paid for a privat room on the Camino to have a good bed, but I have had better beds in 10€ dorms. So yeah, one star for communication before, easy check-in, location, clean place all of that, but when the bed is bad, then the rest doesn't matter.
O Pedrouzo is not a nice city. It’s thus a double delight to find this place, a warm welcoming and bright shared apartment mere meters from the Camino. The beds were great, the shower too, the living room comfortable and while we didn’t use the kitchen, we looked in and liked it. A great find in an otherwise gray and dreary town.
