It's not a good place. If you can afford to pay a little more for literally any other place, do it. If not, go to a hostel, it'll be better. It's an apartment where they rent out all the rooms, and if it's the living room and it has glass doors, then duct tape and you're done. The main door doesn't open properly, the owner only takes cash, and on top of that, she was a disaster when it came to getting into the room (she got confused several times). Honestly, it's the last thing you want to do when you've traveled 30 km, because obviously you find out all of the above when you arrive: you're going along calmly, and suddenly: "surprise!", you have to find a bank, argue with her about your reservation... not at all advisable; cheap is expensive.
I didn't like it at all. It's a shared apartment with four rooms. Although the owner posted signs warning people to be careful with the doors, I didn't sleep a wink. The people weren't careful at all. Another person was sleeping on the dining room sofa. The owner was very nice, though.
These types of establishments should be closed. Zero service, zero quality, everything old and neglected. A shame for the image of the Camino and the town. We made a reservation and upon arriving in the afternoon, we were completely shocked at how a granny flat (literally) could be converted into five crummy rooms for €70 a night. A complete nonsense that made us search for an alternative at the last minute, on the last leg of the Camino. Fortunately, we found something at 10:00 PM.
We spent a pleasant night at this guesthouse. The room is very nice and everything is very clean. The location is very good, as is the service. We had rented three rooms that shared a bathroom, but we thought we'd be staying in a hotel-style room. It turned out to be a house where we had all three bedrooms and a bathroom, and the living room and kitchen as common areas to share with the people who lived in the other room. The neighbors were pleasant, and so was the stay, but we didn't realize that we'd be sharing the apartment with two other people. Finally, I'd like to point out that the price may be a bit high, as we've paid less at other accommodations and had the entire apartment to ourselves.
