Good place for 2 stars
The room was comfortable, although a bit small, with all the noise it could be. It sounds like the road runs right through the room, and you can hear the neighbors talking as if they were in the bathroom. It wouldn't be a bad idea to soundproof the entire room, starting with those facing the road. Breakfast... oh, my, breakfast is awesome, a tong for everything from bread, pastries, and cold cuts. They bring it out piecemeal, and sometimes you have to ask for it. It's not at all advisable to get it with breakfast. The best thing was the helpfulness of the reception desk and the views.
Very basic hotel. 2 km from Santillana. The terrace window didn't close, and cold, wind, and noise came in. Cars don't stop all night. You can also hear everything from every room. Everything, everything. In the living room downstairs, there's nothing but some books. No TV, no games of any kind. If it rains and you can't go out, you're stuck in your room. The bar next door has strange hours. Breakfast was a disaster; it's served at the bar next door from 9:30 to 10:30, a real struggle to get something for breakfast. The coffee maker didn't work; we asked for coffee from the bar and were told it wasn't. Very basic and very limited. A huge disappointment that ruins your weekend.
A 2-star hotel in every sense. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable for short stays. Everything was fairly clean. Thanks to reading the reviews, we brought our own fan because it's unbearably hot; it's impossible to sleep. You can hear quite a bit of road noise throughout the night. Breakfast was rather meager but enough to stave off hunger before leaving the hotel. The staff was very friendly.
