5 / 5 This was a lovely place to stay at the beginning of our trip in Spain. It is situated in a quiet area, between many small alleyways. On arrival, we were greeted and checked in quickly, despite the language barrier (hardly any English is spoken and we did not have much of a grasp on Spanish!). We had booked the apartment with a private garden, though the garden is not private at all. Rather, it is a garden that surrounds the property, with others having access. There is a BBQ outside for use, as well as a table and chairs, and a washing line. The apartment itself is well-sized with a separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with a washing machine, coffee machine, cooking facilities and basic dishes / crockery / cutlery. There was also complimentary tea and coffee. The bathroom was very clean with well appointed fittings. The bed was comfortable. Overall, we had a lovely stay.
You can hear the sounds coming from the room above, which can make it difficult to sleep at night. The garden is not private as the listing says – rather, it appears to be a shared space. The lighting in all rooms of the apartment was very dim. It would be much nicer with bright and slightly warm lighting. There was no kettle, though this appears to be a cultural thing as none of the places that we stayed had a kettle.
5 / 5 EXCELLENT!!! What better way to say than this. Carmen and Vanesa make you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and everything is carefully looked after. The breakfast is excellent. They have a refrigerator and microwave so you can store and heat your own lunch or dinner, a great touch! Parking is easy.
