This is, without a doubt, the best albergue on the Camino del Norte. It is simple, uncrowded, and offers an atmosphere perfectly suited for rest and recovery. We were the first to arrive, settled in quickly, and had the rare chance to cook our own meals for both lunch and dinner — something we hadn’t been able to do in the past two weeks. Most other albergues either have no kitchen, or if they do, guests are discouraged from using it. Here, laundry service was included in the modest €12 fee for the bed, along with full use of the kitchen. We felt no sense of being taken advantage of — only genuine gratitude. Thanks go to Marina! La Llosa de Cosme sets a gold standard that other albergues along the Camino should aspire to follow.
This was one of the best albergue's I've stayed at so far on the Camino Norte. Small 6 bed and quiet, it has a full outdoor kitchen. Very clean, the owner washes your clothes for you. Loved it!!
Hot water, good shower pressure. The bed was comfortable. They provided a fitted sheet and pillow case. No blanket so you need at least a sheet. Nice outside kitchen for cooking your own food. Albergue gave us Breakfast was cookies, oatmeal, cake, apple, coffee & tea . Cat and dog were really cute and friendly. Off the Camino outside kitchen for cooking your own food and they wash your clothes from the day!
I really liked the garden. The dog and cat were adorable. It was a nice, quiet place to relax with its cozy, countryside vibe.
I was rather dissapointed with the albergue, as the reviews for it where so good. It is true that it is relatively cheap and it includes breakfast. However, it does not have wifi, the place is outside their home so you dont know when they are available for anything
