Seronda Surfhouse

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this surfing hostel! From the moment I arrived, I felt more like a guest in someone’s home than in a hostel. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the owners are truly the heart of this place. They’re not just friendly — they’re genuinely caring, fun, and always ready to help with anything you might need. Whether it’s giving local tips, organizing surf lessons, or just chatting over coffee, they make you feel part of their family. The hostel itself has a great vibe — relaxed, social, and full of positive energy. Everything is clean and well taken care of, and you can tell the owners put a lot of love into every detail. The common areas are perfect for meeting other travelers, and the location is ideal for both surfing and exploring the area. What really sets this place apart, though, are the people running it. Their passion for surfing, travel, and connecting with others creates a unique atmosphere that’s hard to find anywhere else. I came for the waves but stayed for the people. If you’re looking for a place that combines great surf, comfort, and the best hosts you could ever meet — this is it. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Place is just amazing. I’ve spent there one week, now it’s time to leave and I already miss it. It’s incredible that in just few days I could meet people and now they’re not anymore strangers for me, I can consider them as my friends. it’s truly tye most amazing place you could find to sleep and live in for a few days. I felt like at home all the time, the laughter and the memories are never gonna be forgotten. Also the design of the house and the garden is so welcoming and just nice and pretty. The best part is honestly the people, every good morning every good night and every let’s get surfing is so loving and pure, i love it I will definitely be back with more of my friends! ps. there are two cats (beltrana and manuel) and they’re the cutest most huggable cats ever ps ps. for our group at least there were so many attractions to keep having fun and it’s so easy to make great new friends

25 days on the Camino, 25 different hostels, Seronda SurfHouse is THE BEST!!! David has created such a beautiful atmosphere and comfortable space to find rest. I was meant to stay one night, but ended up extending to two so I could recover from my kind walking days. I took surf lessons with two other women and the instructor, Pablo, was so patient and skilled. David cooks a hot breakfast in the morning, which was just amazing. A gorgeous beach, restaurants and a market are within minutes of the hostel—and Llanes is a short 30-minute walk away. The hostel is immaculate, the bedding is plush, the vibe is peaceful (not a party hostel), and perhaps best of all, the two kittens, Manuel and Beltrana are cuddly, playful little balls of love. I can’t say enough about Seronda. I’ll be back!

I started writing down the reasons why it’s worth coming to Seronda, but there were so many that I decided it would be easier to find reasons not to come… and you know what? I didn’t find a single one! The ocean, the mountains, the beautiful towns and hiking trails, but above all, the people who make this place what it is! These are the reasons that truly prove it’s worth visiting Seronda, even if just for a while. The week I’ve just spent here was so pleasant, peaceful, and at the same time full of activity, that I simply have to come back, and I encourage you to do the same.
