5 / 5 Great place just a fee minutes’ walk from the centre with many places to have food/drinks.
The hostel is very clean.
Fernando is very helpful and hospitable. Would stay again in the future
4 / 5 Fernando was a great host 🙌🏼
4 / 5 Fernando, the owner, is a lovely person, willing to help you in any way he can.
The facilities need some maintenance; for example, the room doors don't close and one toilet doesn't have a lid.
Otherwise, it's a decent option for a one-night stay if you're a pilgrim.
5 / 5 The host, Fernando, was very attentive and pleasant. The location is perfect, even though it's on the outskirts of Ribadeo, right next to the Camino. The hostel's interior is very clean, the rooms are spacious and large, and the bathrooms are very hygienic; they lack nothing. It has a large terrace for hanging out and socializing, and a garden for hanging clothes. What I liked most was the detail of the sheets, which are cloth instead of paper, as they usually provide in other hostels; it's much appreciated. 10/10
5 / 5 This hostel makes you feel right at home. One of the best we've found on the Camino del Norte.
It's very well equipped: the kitchen has a refrigerator, coffee maker, various infusions, microwave, and stove. There are two bathrooms with showers. It has a large, grassy garden, ideal for stretching after a tough stretch of the Camino. The garden also has tables for lunch, dinner, or simply a few beers in the fresh air.
There's a washing machine and dryer, as well as a long clothesline in the garden.
The kitchen has a very large table and sofas. It also has books and board games.
Fernando, the hostel owner and a lifelong resident of Ribadeo, was very friendly and approachable. He brought us oil from his house when we ran out at the hostel.
It's also possible to shower at the hostel without staying there.
