El Galeón

Beautiful apartment. Excellent location in the centre of Ribadeo. Comes with free parking right outside. Lovely host, very welcoming and provides lots of local information. Only slight downside is you can hear noise from the apartment above and below.

The room was spotless, the person who greeted us was very attentive, and they even provided maps explaining everything, which is really appreciated if you're unfamiliar with the area. The location is also very central.

I was attended to by a very polite, pleasant, and helpful gentleman. The room was spotless, with a television that worked perfectly and had a great picture from the bed. Inside the wardrobe was a mini-fridge, perfect for storing drinks or snacks. They included a large bottle of water. The wardrobe is spacious, and there are electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. The bed is very comfortable. I thought I would get a different room, with a terrace for smoking, a sofa, etc., but I got the top-floor one. It was the only room on the top floor, with a separate room outside, but with the keys they give you, you can lock the entire apartment above. They gave me a key to the room, another to the building, and another to the apartment above. If I had to find a fault, it would be that I could clearly hear the conversation from another room, presumably the one below.

The room we were given has two entrances, one separate from the one where you park your car. It's very convenient for unloading luggage. The staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. Quite centrally located, in the old part of Ribadeo, with many hills and narrow streets. Clean, and a very large and comfortable room. Very good value. They provide all kinds of facilities and information on how to get to the Cathedral Beach, restaurants where to eat, and what to see. The only drawback, if any, is that it's not signposted, but when you call them, they'll come and find you or guide you if you're really lost. Highly recommended.

The truth is that it was lucky to find this place. The owner very attentive at all times. The room was spectacular, very large and with every detail and very clean, even with a nuclear white sofa, (how can they not put a cover on it, people are not careful at all). The owner waited for us with the heating on, despite it being cool June, he told us to turn it up as many degrees as we wanted. We had towels for two people, but we went with our baby, and the next day we also left it for him. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
