For the lowbudget traveller who does not care about the private chamber looking like a prisoncell, it should be just fine. I booked two nights. When I arrived I was shown to my room by a friendly lady. I took one look....and left. I've been walking the Camino del Norte for the last 4 weeks, and I am used to primitive lodging. This place took it to a whole new level. I simply didn't want to stay there. The owner did give me my money back.
A lovely hostel. You can choose a double (30€) or a twin room (20€). Ours was light and airy. We could eat in the garden behind the building, otherwise there is a common room on the ground floor. The service is very friendly. Definitely a family business. The staff did everything they could for us, made us feel very welcome and looked after. The accommodation is basic, but it's clean and comfortable, and for us (two 22-year-olds) it was perfect for two nights. We would stay here again if we returned to Ribadeo. ¡Buen Camino!
Complete disgrace of a premises.. Showers were freezing both night and morning.. it would definitely win an award for dust and bad hygiene..stains all over the sheets..No heating and most definitely do not go there if you are a pilgrim..will ruin your next day..I stayed here on the April 13th 2018..I'd be ashamed if I owned this place..
The showers are cold. In the morning and in the evening. Dont go there if you are a pilgrim.
