This is my second time staying at the hotel on the Camino, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Roger is an absolute gentleman, very accommodating (despite my poor Spanish), and was particularly gracious after I had booked a room at a nearby hotel and had a bad experience trying to check-in. It was past 8pm by the time I arrived, and Roger came back to make sure I had a safe place to stay for the evening. I not only remembered the hotel from my first Camino, but I remembered him and his kindness as well, so I can attest to the nature of Hotel Rolle being a memorable experience. 10/10
Very welcoming place. Both father and son are super friendly, love recommending places to see and eat. Rooms are clean and soundproof. Close to everything in Ribadeo. I had to leave before breakfast time and they left a nice thermos of coffee, milk and fresh orange juice for me at a small table by reception. Really outstandingly warm place!
Can highly recommend, the guy in the counter was amazing! Super helpful, funny and friendly! The room was clean and the bathroom felt newly renovated!
This is a very nice little hotel with very helpful staff. As we had to leave early they prepared breakfast for us in advance.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The gentleman who was managing the hotel (perhaps the owner) was very warm, hospitable and funny. Despite not speaking the same language he gave us all the info/recommendations we needed and always managed to make us laugh 😊 Also the room was clean and comfortable. No overnight parking is allowed in the streets near the hotel but you can usually find a free spot near the main square (about a 5 min walk away if that)
