We stayed for one night in August, booking at very short notice on the day of our arrival. On the positive side, communication with the owners was superb. However, we felt the hotel offered poor value for money. At €149 for the night, the quality and amenities simply didn't justify the cost.
The hotel is simple but nice. We got a beautiful room with a great view on to the sella River and the old town. There is a bit of a hill to get to it or steps. They offer breakfast and the staff is very friendly. There is an odd smell to cigarette smoke in the lobby.
Staff is smoking inside the building which is noticeable as soon as you enter. They’re trying to fix the smell of the smoke by spraying bottles of air freshener inside the rooms. Nice location and good view though!
A genuine, 2 star hotel up the hill - we stayed 2 nights and walked up both the steps and the road going up behind the hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. If possible, asked for a room with a view - we did when we checked in and got one with some checking and switching of keys.
Room had a bath, which was great. Smell of smoke filled the building, which was not nice. For this reason having breakfast here was out of the question. Staff was friendly.
