Lovely and welcoming service from all staff on duty at different times. Lovely accommodation. Apart from the pillows on beds. The downfall was noise travels through the building, footsteps from above, doors opening and closing and the plumbing made very loud noise, sounded like construction, each time anyone used the water or flushed a toilet.
Very comfortable beds! There was a strange half step up into the bathroom that caused me to stumble a couple times. The walls are thin, I could hear the guest in the next room snoring half the night, and the pilgrims leaving early in the morning as their boots stomped down the wooden stairs. Nicely located to several quality restaurants and quick eateries.
We're not keen on chain hotels but prefer small, quirky places with character. We got a room with a little terrace overlooking the river. We watched horses running in the woods opposite, with sounds of ducks and chickens and the river of course. The manageress was lovely, and very patient with our attempts to speak Spanish.
Good hotel in a great position in the town. The girl on reception was really pleasant and helpful, the hotel itself is a little tired but for the price you can’t go wrong
Correct Hotel. Staff very helpfully and friendly. Place is OK becuase is in the downtown of Ribadesella. Rooms OK. No breakfast services but you can take it at many places close to the Hotel. There are rooms with views and other no. Recomended with views.
