The only good thing about this place is the location near the beach and easy parking. Everything else was absolutely terrible. The room reeked of harsh cleaning chemicals, so strong it made us cough and gave us both headaches, even after hours of airing it out. The receptionist was kind and gave us another room, but it smelled just as bad. Thin walls, no breakfast, and a very very cheap motel vibe — all for €90 a night. If you expand a hotel, at least maintain a similar standard. This was a massive disappointment. Avoid (even if the chemical cleaning smell hadnt been). Hadnt it been 10pm we would have driven off and looked for a new hotel, it really was that bad.
Location was convenient to the beach and a short walk to town. Having parking was great. The room was very simple. "Service" is very limited. You call a number to access reception in the main hotel across the street. Totally fine for one night. Don't know if I would have wanted to stay for multiple nights.
Clean room, quiet enough and friendly staff. Very convenient to beach and cafes. They provided an early check-in which I appreciated. Two issues that kept me from giving full five stars: 1) cleaning staff repeatedly knocked on the door at 2 pm, at 8 and 9 am; 2) room key card demagnetized due to being placed close to my phone. Their machine for magnetizing the cards wasn’t functioning so they had to come to my room to unlock it manually. Didn’t leave my room for the rest of the night but it would have been inconvenient if I did. Otherwise, slept well and room had one of the nicest bathtubs I’ve used with water that was very nice and hot. Hotel supplied 4 waters & 2 non-alcoholic beers in the fridge.
The hotel is modern and is a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Area is quiet for sleeping. Staff were helpful and courteous. Toiletries were a step above. Parking was easy and free. Close to beach and cafes and a nice stroll to main town centre. There is a small fridge in the room and a pod coffee machine. We wish we had time to stay longer.
