Thank you for a lovely stay! This albergue was a haven after a long and very wet day of walking. Friendly hosts, clean and comfortable. The highlight was the beautiful garden and lovely rabbits and cats that live there. If it was full the kitchen or the bathroom could get quite cramped, but when I was there it was only 1/4 full and this wasn't a problem.
We had a really bad experience here, and when I say "we" I mean the full albergue. The hosts (couple) decided to get drunk with their friends and then throw a party upstairs in their flat. The dorm rooms are downstairs and the structure is an old house. We had the owner sing and play the harmonica badly and then sound coming through the windows (it was hot, so you couldn't close them) while trampling around above. This kept going well after 12. Eventually some of us got up and talked what to do. We tried calling them, but no answer. Meanwhile the have warning of what not do and are super pedantic about every little thing. This place had really bad energy and I really recommend to skip it if you can. They really take advantage of the pilgrims. Also because you cannot get any food nearby. They for example charge 3€ for a can of beer. This place is far from the pilgrimage spirit and it's sad as it's otherwise a gorgeous place.
We had a great stay here. It was really peaceful and we slept really well. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook a nice meal and everything was clean. The hosts were really helpful. Breakfast was good and the host didn't mind us staying later that morning to wait for bad weather to pass. Great value and we definitely recommend staying here!
Very good experience - Yoli was helpful and kind. Kitchen well equipped ( a bit small if the albergue is full but it was fine for us) Big fridge. Room is spacious and beds comfortable Shared shower for girls with a curtain in between Kittens ❤️🐈 Space for self laundry Breakfast included (12€ in total) was good - happy to have some corn bread and plum jam. Small kitchen, but all you need is there. They have a small “Mercado” to buy food for your own dinner, like a robust pantry. Really reasonably priced! Vending machines, clothes lines, fenced in yard with a view of the sea. 12€ including breakfast. Jolie lives upstairs with her family and is always there for you. Friendly kittens and good wifi. What more could you ask for?
