5 / 5 A pleasure to stay at. The hospitalera is very welcoming and attentive. Facilities are clean and with all you need. Beautiful location with a farm house feel.
Got a chance to see the church built in the 900s (right across the albergue). I thought it was more special and beautiful than the one in Valdediós.
Wonderful stay. Recommend!
5 / 5 Definitely worth staying here on the Camino del Norte! We stayed for one night, and were allocated our own room (as a family group of 3). Susanna was very welcoming. The facilities were great, allowing the group of pilgrims staying there that night to purchase meal ingredients and cook a shared meal. It is those encounters along the way - the camaraderie and bonhomie - that really encapsulate the Camino experience!
5 / 5 This is a wonderful place to stay, everything you need is available. Food for your own cooking is sold on site, all facilities are new and clean, we were given free vegetables freshly picked from the garden for free, and the view of the hills is peaceful. I think this place is skipped because it does not allow reservations but even though the Camino has been very busy this season I was able to share the whole place with only 4 other guests and it was amazing! Take the chance and just show up at 3pm when they open.
5 / 5 Probably our favourite albergue on the norte. Owner was really friendly and sitting outside in the garden was awesome in the sun. A well equipped kitchen and has a lot of food / wine to buy.
5 / 5 I always forget to write reviews but I can't possibly miss this one. Susan has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable on the camino. The views, outdoor set up for sunset, nuts to snack on(?), a total set up kitchen, supermarket items to buy at a reasonable price so you don't need to lug food with you to cook, fresh vegetables from the garden for free, hot amazing showers, lockers, dryer and washer, breakfast, a very very clean space, and even the rooms had air fresheners and everything smelt wonderful.
This should be a pivitol stop on your camino. It feels like an Airbnb/cosy get away. It's wonderful. You must visit.
