5 / 5 A boutique hotel close to the Dona Katalina Zubia. There are two entrances to the hotel, the main one facing the road and the other entrance facing the Urumea River. Staff were friendly and always had a smile. The hotel is quite clean and everything is within 15mins walk. The amenities are limited, but there is a 24 hour reception and bar downstairs, a nice roof top sunbathing area and a gym. I would suggest to check the batteries of the remotes before a customer checks in, as I had to request it to be changed and the replacement wasn't available until the next day, more compliment bottles of water and dental kits (given there was 3 of us and only 2 bottles and 1 kit for multiple days). Overall though, I enjoyed the stay and would come back again.
5 / 5 Beautiful hotel in walking distance to all sights in San Sebastián and also the bus station. We had corner balcony room which was nice and airy. Service was good - pretty transactional but no problems at all.
4 / 5 Stayed 4 nights in September. Overall, the service, location, and vibe were all slightly above average.
A few small annoyances though:
- Value: Prices were still pretty high for the end of peak season, but that’s just supply and demand.
- Comfort: The room felt small and a bit dated, and the bedding wasn’t super comfortable for us.
- Housekeeping: A bit inconsistent day to day.
- Design: The push-button bathroom door was oddly annoying.
We weren’t expecting 5-star luxury, but it did fall a bit short of a true 4-star experience. Still, overall a good stay - great location, and totally worth it if you can snag a rate under €200 a night.
3 / 5 Let me start by saying that this hotel is in an awesome location and very accessible to many activities and venues. The rooms were very technologically sound. Now, we had an unfortunate experience with a centipede in our room along with ants. It took 2 days but got addressed. The manager of the hotel was absolutely non-responsive to any events that were going on. Any who works in the bar both upstairs and down was AWESOME. She was one of the saviors for our 2 week stay. Ariel was also very helpful...for being new to the facility, he did everything in his power to help. Let me end with some great news....the view was wonderful.
1 / 5 Just finished staying here. The hotel is fine. However, at 10:55am I came down to grab a quick breakfast before checking out. I had a plate full of food but a waiter came up to me and said breakfast has closed, despite it being before the 11am breakfast stopping time. I was made to put my plate of food down and leave, and I saw him throw away the perfectly edible food that I was about to eat. A small annoyance, but it really soured my experience of this hotel.
