Unfortunately this has to be a one star review, I have given alwayseasy the chance to compensate as they said they would in writing but they have gone back on their word, they cannot be trusted. On our first of 7 nights we came home after dinner to find ants all across the living area, we cleaned them up and plugged the hole in the wall with tissue but it was a very poor start to our stay, the WiFi was also down and one of the blinds was faulty. The company asked for time to remedy this but as far as the ants went they didn't fill the hole (the tissue stayed in place the whole stay) no-one came to clean and all they did was place some cheap traps by the hole in the wall. As it was such a poor first night experience they agreed in writing to refund the first night but have now gone back on their word. I feel we have been punished for being reasonable and giving them a chance, they CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
Beautiful apartment in an excellent location in the heart of San Sebastián. Very responsive and helpful team! Highly recommend this place.
Stayed at the Pio Baroja , and it was a fantastic apartment . The host was brilliant and very helpful . I would recommend this apartment and I would recommend San Sebastián . Only a couple of negatives 1) a little noisy at night with mopeds and traffic , and local authority emptying the bins 😂🤷🏼♂️not use to this as never stayed in a apartment before . 2) on a hill , so walking down to centre not a problem , however be prepared for the walk back up 😂 3) I booked a few days before , so a bit pricey I thought, but maybe that’s the going rate ? But if you have 6 adults then it’s worth it .
Everything was perfect, great location, just close to the beach, old town, restaurants!
We stayed for four days and everything was wonderful! The accommodation was beautifully prepared and lovely, the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and everything was spotless! Definitely a great choice! Thank you for everything! We'll be back!
