Belle Époque

This is a terrible hotel. I accidentally booked two rooms and had to cancel one due to my own mistake, but according to their policy I should have received a 50% refund. However, they charged me the full amount. This hotel does not honor its own terms and conditions, so I cannot recommend staying here. Please be careful if you decide to book this hotel.

I don't even know where to begin. The pictures were photoshopped in their advertisements, and we were shocked when we saw how it actually looked. There was no staff on site, and the organization around it was poorly functioning. Since they messed up the booking, we were forced to wait in a phone queue that kept getting disconnected. It was incredibly hot; there was no temperature control or fan. The view from the hotel window is attached below. The only good thing about the hotel is its location, as it is close to the old town and the beach. Otherwise, I wish I could give them zero points.

I had a wonderful stay and I don’t recognise the negative review I just read. The room was enjoyable, clean and cosy. Having contact with the hosts was super easy and friendly. I definitely would love to stay again!

Watch out! Felt like a scam… at first rooms have a nice design, balcony is pretty and the location is superb… but… we booked a room for 6 (2 double beds, 2 single beds, clearly on the photo), which was clearly spacious on the photos and had two parts… in the booking process you could only choose between 1 or 2 persons, but since it stated “room for 6” I didn’t bother. In the self check-in I could easily put all the four of us, so I did not start to worry either, otherwise this would have been the point where I would have called… when we arrived in the evening, half of the room was locked with a door and there was only one double bed and one single… a lady on the phone first had no idea about what room I was talking about… later I got a call where they only told me they could do nothing and that it was my fault because I didn’t write that we were 4 (but I mean there was no opportunity in the booking system, so….) ! I was then told, that the other day someone would come to make the beds and open the door … so we were left there… luckily we had one sleeping bag and found a mattress under the bed… when we arrived the other night looking forward to finally all having our own beds, we had another bad surprise… they only had made the missing bed but had not opened the door… so instead of four beds and a spacious room we had booked, we had to sleep way to close to one another for our intimacy level and it was tight. I asked for a (partly) refund and wrote a mail about our situation, but got no response until now (1,5 months later…)

Laundry getting collected at 3 am with a lot of noise. These people do not care about their guests.
