Colo Colo Hostel San Sebastián

Cristina at the reception is a lovely Woman. Muey bien! She did not hesitate to help and gave tips on good bars around. Colo colo is honestly a 10/10. Very clean, multilingual, clean, cozy and very serviceable. They had tablets and adjustable reading lights in the room! their "Casitas" are more than comfortable for a good night's rest after the beach. In terms of location the beaches, bars, old town, Michelin star restaurants all are stone throw distances. There were times where it was faster to walk back to colo colo than take the bus. In all four directions of colo colo there are essential parts of san sebastian! Beaches, restaurants, canals, old town. Are all north,south,east,west respectively Might just return to San sebastian to stay here again. Muchos Gracias

Best hostel I've ever stayed at hands down. super clean, super new, super cozy. The photos don't lie. If you wanna treat yourself (on a budget) book yourself a few nights here. The location is less than 10min walk from Old Town where all the popular pintxos bars are. Its also fantastically close to the river which is great for a pleasant morning stroll or for getting to Gros and the other less tourist-trodden areas. It's also a 6min walk from the main bus station if you're coming from other cities by bus. The check in process is straightforward even if after-hours. The help line is quick and helpful if you need (they had given me the wrong pin code but it was easily rectified). The Goki app was a novel but very convenient way to access the doors (after initial check in). There's plenty of hair dryers, private cubicles, and body wash supplied. The kitchen is spacious and clean and new, and there's even an bean-to-cup automatic espresso machine free for use! Can't wait to visit San Seb again just so I can stay here again hahah. Convenient location for the main train station, and not too far from the old town and transit. The 'casita' was comfortable enough, though an extra handhold for the ladder would have been appreciated. The tablet + headphones provided felt quite gimmicky, I'd rather they have given a free towel instead or just save me the money. The layout is one big room with (IIRC) 28 beds/pods, and a couple of toilets in an antechamber. There were drawers at the bottom of the pods for each person, but the lockers as well as the majority of the bathrooms and the kitchen were all in a basement level which you have to access through the reception. Everything seemed well-equipped, though the shower stalls could probably do with some better drainage and deeper cleaning as I noticed a fair bit of standing water and mold. One quirk is that the reception is only open from 10-18, and while the one staff member I encountered was friendly, it does mean that if you want to check out but leave your luggage behind for the day (which was free, appreciated), you either have to wait until 10 to head out or return before 11 to check out properly.

Contemporary, super-comfortable hostel! The wooden “box” style rooms within a larger shared space are such a fun concept. Each features ultra-comfortable beds and privacy blinds. The air conditioning made everything even more pleasant. Guests were respectful and quiet during sleeping hours (and throughout the day), which really added to the peaceful atmosphere. Downstairs, the kitchen and bathrooms boast beautifully clean, modern interiors with all the necessary amenities. Lockers are available, and the showers provide shampoo and shower gel. In the kitchen you’ll find teas, a coffee machine, plus fresh lemon water etc. I’m not a regular hostel user but this was such a great hostel experience and really set a great standard! Cristina was a very helpful & friendly face for anything that was needed and upon checking out! The pricing is slightly steep, but given the quality, it’s totally understandable. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a fantastic experience. Everything was very clean, quiet, and peaceful. We had a wonderful time, and the staff member, Dana, provided us with truly amazing service. She was incredibly helpful, calm, and always accommodating, and we've only encountered service like that in a five-star hotel 🥰We will definitely come back.
