Great spot to stay in San Sebastián, views from room 1 are incredible ! Having the breakfast delivered to the room every morning and eating on the balcony overlooking the ocean is a great way to start the day. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. Rooms are clean, tidy and reasonably sized. Only issue would be that oddly small bathroom sink size where it makes it hard to brush your teeth or wash your hands. It’s 253ish steps up and down to the beach which makes you want to hop in the ocean when you get down and a 15-20 min stroll into the old town which makes you think you have earned the first sangria and pinxtos plate. Will be back !
Room was spacious with calm and soothing decor. Our host was waiting for us upon arrival to show us where to park and was very friendly and helpful. Pointed out the main areas of San Sebastian from our private balcony with expansive views over the whole of La Concha. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony in the evening overlooking the lights of La Concha and ate our breakfast there too watching dogs frolicking on the beach. Bliss!
Such a lovely place! Wonderful staff, clean and cozy rooms with an old world charm and modern amenities - espresso machine, good shower. We had a balcony view which was stunning. Breakfast options are varied and delicious. They do yoga most mornings! Fan was high-powered for hot days. 10 minute total walk to the beach down BIG stairs. Fun for us but not accessible for all.
Excellent location, service, and room. The included breakfast was delicious and delivered each morning (with multiple options) and the staff was incredibly attentive to any needs via WhatsApp. The hotel was clean and well kept, located on a quiet street, but with easy access to the beach either down the road downhill or down a large staircase. The location is convenient for both beach time as well as visiting Old Town via a 20 minute walk. Highly recommend for a trip to San Sebastián.
I spent five days in the hotel (which felt more like a home than a hotel) in August. It became the best part of an extended workation in the north of Spain. Not only the place and the views (which are fantastic), but all staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Super bonuses: in-room breakfasts (five good options to choose from) and free yoga morning classes. Would surely stay again if going back to San Sebastián.
