Friendly staff. Rooms are a little small and it can be quite noisy on a morning from the rooms above, quiet other than that. Air conditioning is good. Although we didn't use it, there is a small mini bar with reasonably priced drinks.

The room was practical and it was cleaned thoroughly every day. Bed was nice and everything was fully functional. It was also the cheapest place in the area. Would recommend if you just want a nice base while you’re visiting San Sebastián

Unwelcoming and very rude staff - no one needs that when trying to enjoy a nice holiday. The place is run by a very unwelcoming and rude gentleman who made us feel uncomfortable during our entire stay. We were took by surprise when he would not allow us to enter the pension because we arrived earlier than the check-in time, while all what we wanted was to leave our bags at the reception. Guests don’t have access to the receptions outside of their official stay. Therefore, leaving our bags at the reception before check-in or after check-out is taken as a “massive favour” rather than a normal guest request. They do not offer a common bathroom, so you can’t go to the toilet or get changed before/after your stay. Every time we would see him at the reception there is an occur sentiment as you are not welcome.

I would recommend this place. We stayed here for 2 nights 19-21 July 2019. Simple but effective. We have our own toilet and shower. Air conditioning. The receptionist is polite and helpful. The hostal sits 1 min walk from the beach and a few mins walk from the new and old town. Excellent place to stay. No breakfast is provided but it is better to eat out as their are plenty of eating places. The hostal is clean and we have no complaints.

The hostel has a perfect location. The room isn't very big, but it has everything you need. It was very clean, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. He even let us shower after the marathon, even though we were a little past checkout time.
