5 / 5 Great location in Old Town. Had a room overlooking the Basilia, infact preferred it to my room at Lasala. Service was warm and efficient. Breakfast was excellent.
5 / 5 I would give this hotel more than 5 stars if I could! My experience was made exceptional thanks to Sara at the front desk, the most helpful hotel associate I’ve ever met. On the morning of my checkout, my flight from San Sebastián to Madrid (and then onward to New York) was canceled, leaving me less than an hour to figure out a solution — and my phone carrier wouldn’t let me call the Spanish airline number. Sara immediately stepped in, called the airline on my behalf, explained the situation in Spanish, and even found alternative flights for the next day. Traveling solo, I would have truly panicked without her help, and I’m forever grateful. Beyond that, everything about the hotel was wonderful — the location, the breakfast, the rooms, and the overall service. Highly recommend!
5 / 5 Breakfast was incredible, definitely not to be missed. The location is very central, which means it can be very noisy with the windows open, but once closed, we slept comfortably. The only drawback was the small room. We constantly had to shift our medium sized luggages to open doors. Other than this, our stay was comfortable!
5 / 5 Stayed there for a night, and the hotel was fantastic. The location is second to none, and the breakfast was just spectacular. We needed to get a car from San Sébastien to Biarritz, and the receptionists Christian and Diego were super helpful.
5 / 5 My wife and I stayed here for 4 days on our trip through Spain and it was perfect. The location was amazing, our room was cozy, and it had everything we needed. The hotel contacted us ahead of time to tell us that they had been reduced to a 2-star hotel and explained the reasoning, which we very much appreciated, but the rating had no bearing on our enjoyment of this hotel whatsoever. If you’re looking for a place to stay in San Sebastián, Hotel Atari is an incredible option.
