Room was alright. Nice rooftop for sunset views. Service was polite and professional. However one interaction made me feel like it was a mechanically run hotel without a heart- I made a request to cancel and refund payment for a buffet breakfast when I was feeling unwell (which i had chosen as an optional extra on top of my room fee) was met with a flat ‘sorry no’. It wasn’t like they had made the breakfast especially for me and seemed to not care about the fact that I was physically ill and therefore didn’t want to have breakfast.

The service was amazing - really great service. attached a picture from the roof - what a view! The rooms were great - as was the location. We enjoyed our stay and will go back again. We highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our experience at Hotel Lasala Plaza! We had been traveling for 4 weeks and this hotel room was SO LOVELY for us! It was spacious and facing the water with a beautiful view. There were shelves for our clothes and hangers for those clothes needing hangers. They brought us two suitcase holders as well. The staff was so friendly and nice. We only chose the breakfast (23E) for one of our days. It was a lovely buffet but in the following days we just walked 5 minutes away and also had a nice breakfast for 23E for all 4 of us. Not unlimited like the buffet of course. Completely recommend- ask for the rooms facing the ocean!

This is a beautiful and luxurious hotel with lovely and helpful staff. We booked 2 rooms for our stay - a corner historical and a double historical. The corner historical room was absolutely fabulous, with lots of space and amenities. The double historical room sadly wasn't so nice. We were given an accessible room for disabled people, so not only did you have to stare at the ugly contraption and railing while you were in the room, but the bathroom is unlike the normal lovely bathrooms you have in other rooms. You don't get a separate toilet and shower, it is just one combined space and there is just a low standard white basin in there with no benchtop to hold your toiletries. It would have been nice to be advised at check-in and given the option to move if not comfortable with it. There is something about the discomfort of being in a disabled room when you aren't disabled. If it wasn't for this, I'd be giving a 5 star review. So do check upon check in if you are staying at this lovely hotel.

We had a lovely stay here, meeting up with friends, for a short break. This is a luxurious hotel with a bright and contemporary decor and lots of natural light. The staff are always at hand, attentive and helpful, in that unobtrusive way that top hotels manage. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner here, but breakfasts were top quality. In truth, this was a little more expensive than our price range, but we stayed here as our friends chose it. But having stayed here, and with its fantastic location in town, we’ve already agreed that when we next come to Donostia, we will stay here.thanks
