We had an incredible stay here for the last leg of Spain honeymoon trip! The views, location, and decor of the hotel were excellent. They even had a nice surprise for when we arrived. Service was overall good as well. Alba was a wonderful concierge and was really helpful with making recommendations and securing reservations. Strong recommendation for anyone visiting San Sebastián.
Our stay at Villa Favorita was unforgettable! The room and outdoor terrace had spectacular views across the beach in all directions, and up into the mountains on both sides. The room was superbly appointed with everything we could need. The staff were outstanding!! The cleaning staff made the room perfect every day. David at Concierge was so friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Valentina in the bar area was delightful and nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff made it feel like home away from home. We miss you and we will visit again!
Pros- Really nice hotel, great staff, perfect location. Cons- Do not book a city view room. The street noise is terrible and we were on a higher floor. We requested to change our room but apparently nothing was available even though the hotel looked quite empty. Breakfast was mediocre, the selection of vegetables and fruit was non existent compared to most hotels that offer a buffet breakfast. The only great thing about it was the omelet and the cappuccino.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and the hotel in general are well appointed. Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Perfect location, right on the beach and a quick walk to downtown, Old Town, and Gros.
This is a wonderful hotel that could be perfect. Front desk service was friendly and efficient throughout. The view from our room was spectacular. The bar stopped serving cocktails after 9pm which was disappointing. Breakfast had a very limited choice. I expected much better. It was pretty noisy all night with people partying on the beach and walking past, so we had to shut the door and couldn’t hear the waves. The lift is beautifully painted and we enjoyed that a lot. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel and San Sebastián as an amazing weekend destination.
