Huge rooms, excellent location and absolutely wonderful service. Luggage storage was available. Staff were so kind and understanding. This place deserves a 4-star. Hundred percent recommend staying here for your visit in SS!

Leonardo Boutique hotel is the perfect hotel for your stay in San Sebastian. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. A special thank you to James and Edi on reception, two gentlemen who were always there to help. The location is perfect only a 10minute walk to the Old town and 5 minutes to the beach. Don't hesitate to book your stay here

Very good, central location. You don't hear much from outside with the windows closed. Clean room, good size. Only 4 stars because one of the two rooms we booked had a very strong cigarette smell. No chance to get a different room because the hotel was fully booked and no compensation.

They advertised a room with a balcony and I triple checked to ensure it was the correct room with a balcony as I planned to propose to my now fiance. I arrived and was put into a different room floors down without a balcony or view. The staff was less than helpful in trying to fix the situation telling me verbally and in subsequent emails it was my fault for reasons I still don’t understand. No partial discounts, no attempt to right the wrong, just verbal abuse and flippant disregard. The property was nice but the staff and customer service was awful. Would recommend finding somewhere else to stay if in San Sebastián!

We got an early check in and got room 510. The room was not bad in size with a large bed, small sofra, desk and chair and a small table and chair. The room had an open style wardrobe which seems to be in style these days but not a safe unfortunately. There was no iron or ironing board, but it was possible to get this on request from the reception. The bathroom was small but functional with a good-sized shower and what felt like good quality shampoo/soap. There was a TV mounted on the wall but we did not use it much and the wifi worked fine. On the hotel website the description of breakfast is “..offers a delightful buffet breakfast featuring a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options. “ The breakfast that was introduced in our hotel stay was not a buffet but a choice of different sandwiches, fruit/yogurt and coffee. The breakfast was decent enough but I’m just saying that it was not a buffet. The breakfast is served at the small café/restaurant located on the ground floor next to the hotel and it was great to sit outside to enjoy the breakfast. The location of the hotel is quite good, and it is only minutes from Zurriola beach and 10 minutes to walk to the heart of the old town. There are also many restaurants and bars in the area and the Gros neighborhood seems to offer more local experience compared to many of the restaurants in the old town area. All in all: I would not mind staying there again as the hotel room and location were pretty good. But next time I might skip the breakfast at the hotel as this was not that impressive.
