Lovely location — short walk to the beach and a 10–15 min walk to Centro where all the shops/pintxo bars are. The staff was so kind, helpful, and hospitable! Paulo gave terrific recommendations for sight-seeing, places to eat, and transportation. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
What a great place, our room had a big outside area. Really clean. Simple and exactly what we needed. Would absolutely come again. Paulo was an incredible host too.
Good and clean pension. Easy walk towards the old town with many restaurants nearby. Sadly, our room was without any daylight and some of the fellow guest were unable to use the shared bathrooms respectable, which made it sometimes uncomfortable to use the toilet. Very friendly staff
Great place! Super clean, conveniently located 2 blocks from surfer’s beach, across the stress or a quick walks to many great restaurants, a nice laundromat, and grocery store while only an 8 minute walk to Old Town. Our private room with ensuite price bathroom. And balcony also had room darkening blinds and two exterior doors with three panes of glass allowed us to get a wonderful nights sleep, which was much needed. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They clearly love what they do and want their guests to have the most pleasurable experience in San Sebastian possible. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it to someone not needing all of the bells and whistles that come along with a much more expensive fancy hotel stay. Another pro tip/ Book direct through the hotel’s website to save a few bucks.
My mum and I stayed here for the weekend in San Sebastian. It was such a wonderful place to stay, just 15 minutes walk from the old town and less than 2 minutes from the beach. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and well kept. Shared bathrooms are not a problem as the pension is quiet and the bathrooms are close to rooms. We especially loved the kitchen area with teabags and biscuits. I would definitely come back to Pension AIA if I returned to San Sebastian, thank you so much!!
