Pension Alameda

Perfect 2 day stay in the fabulous city of San Sebastian. The very comfortable room was a good size with a balcony facing the street. Toiletries and a fridge were available. Theresa, the owner cold not have been more helpful. Her assistant, Natalia was very courteous and equally professional. For me the stay was very homely and quiet. The location is perfect as it backs the old town, very convenient for visiting tapas bars and local shops. It's a 5 min walk to the fabulous beach. So much to do and see. I'll be back.

Perfect location right on the edge of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little tired but still comfortable.

Great location , walking distance to old town , new town and beach . Service from Teresa was great . No kettle so she brought us one straight away then came back with tea bags . The rooms were immaculate , rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels . Couldn’t fault the cleanliness or the proprietor Teresa . Close to a taxi rank too. Would stay there again as loved the old building and the quirky old lift .

Extremely centrally located Pension at the edge of the old town and a short walk to the beach. Very warm and welcoming staff, however due to it being a Pension, it can be hard to get prompt service. The rooms were adequate and very clean.

This was our first time in San Sebastian and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfectly situated near the old town in a building full of Spanish character... Lovely and everything we wanted. Friendly and charming staff made this a joy to stay. San Sebastian's reputation for food is well deserved and our hosts recommendations for places to eat were spot on.
