Pension Amalur is an exceptionally excellent place to stay. Reasonably priced, it is very clean and comfortable and only minutes from the beach. The owner, Miguel, is a very friendly and welcoming host and so helpful. It is a home from home.
Miguel is the nicest guy and despite he can't speak 1 english word you will finally understand what he wants to say to you, it will be a great fun. The Pension is also nice and cozy and you can walk everything by foot, if you have a car he can give you cheaper tickets for a nearby parking garage. All in all we enjoyed the time in san sebastian and the Amalur very much.
Clean facilities. Comfortable bedding. Lockers with keys. Location is reasonable considering San Sebastian is small city.
Helpful owner and cozy common room but otherwise small, dark and overpriced (at least for the interior double room we had). Sounds and noises from other rooms tend to be heard a lot.
