Best part of the stay is the location. Check in and out was seamless as well so that helped with late arrivals. However, you smell the musty room smell immediately when you enter. We were in room 4 and the toilet was outside of the room. The walls were falling apart and holes are covered with duck tape. Toilet had mold all around and if you are tall, you can’t stand straight infront of the sink. Had to open the window as there was no ventilation in the room but it was really noisy because it’s right beside a road. Both nights awoken by the rubbish truck. Would not recommend unless you’re on budget and can’t find anything.

This place is a dump. We had a room on the ground floor, with the bathroom across the hallway. The room is minuscule, it stinks as soon as you open the door, there’s humidity inside. The furniture is falling apart, I tried to move the nightstand closer to the bed and gave up because it was barely holding together. The floor is dirty and covered in sand and who knows what else. The bathroom is filthy, no hook to hang your towel, my partner couldn’t stand up straight inside in front of the sink. There are holes in the walls and ceiling in the room covered with scotch tape. We had sent several messages the week prior to our arrival to inform the owner we’d arrive late in the evening and to ask if that’s ok. No reply until the last moment, about one hour before we finally arrived, when we get an email asking us if we’re still coming…(??) We got the access codes to the place hours after the official check in time. This place is a terrible exemple of a complete lack of care for the guests and the state of the building and zero investments. Not recommended.

Good value next to fabulous beach and close to old town...not easy parking. Lovely staff ...

Good location of the hotel, not in the centre part of town and the more touristic areas. Close to the surf beach and some nice cafes/restaurants/bars. Rooms and tidiness are ok standard, the house itself looks a bit run-down.

Very friendly owner. Although the room may be a little cramp, it is in a good location that is at toward the end of the beach and can be relatively quiet, so that you won’t have too much disturbance at night. And yet, it’s near enough to the main city on foot. The best part about being at the end of the city is that you can walk all the way to the other end and make a nice loop. Takes approximately a day to get the whole town done, minus the two high up castles.
