The pictures differ quite a lot from the Website. The pension has no maintenance at all. The first day I couldn't rest as some persons living inside the pension where doing a party. I need to wait 1 hour to take a shower because no warm water. The wifi is super slow. This place didn't cover the basic that you need for stay and rest. I do no recommend to stay in this hostel if you need to rest.

The location is absolutely central, nearby you have so many pintxos bar and you're less than ten minutes walking to the promenade. The room was clean, shared bathrooms, but always clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time

You get what you pay for. It's a great location (if you want to be able to crawl from the city centre home) Staff is helpful to the best of thier abilities. I can forsee this place being a death trap if there were ever a fire. Its quite dirty, few electrical outlets, shared bathrooms are not that great. Dont get me started on the keys/doors, they are a puzzle in themselves.

Whilst this place might seem a fair backpacker destination, the level of service suggests otherwise. The entire property was dirty; we found old cigarette butts on the floor of our room, dust on all of the fixtures and the floor. The bathrooms were both mouldy and one reeked of piss. Though there's an explicit sign at the front of the door saying that the property was non-smoking, the owner chain-smoked constantly, thereby making the central corridor stink of stale smoke. I've stayed in numerous hostels/ pensions/ guesthouses over the years, and this is one of the worst maintained. For 60€ a night for 2 people, a little cleaning is to be expected. It's only redeeming feature is its centrality in the old part of Donostia.

Awful staff. The landlady wasn't present at any point, so if we had a question or a problem, there was no one to contact. The walls are way too thin, you can hear everything happening next door and outside. I would never go back to that place!
