Got a double bed room. The place was clean and smelled fresh. The bed and sheets are some of the better ones I've had in a while. The windows are operable. The washroom is nice too but the problem is that there is only 1 washroom between the 3 rooms.

Cool, modern little pension on the Gros side of the river. Walking distance ( beautiful walk ) to the old city and the beach. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Our room had the shared bath but it wasn't an issue at all. The shower was the best of our trip! There are no frills beside free coffee but with so many places near by, this didn't matter. The only issue for us is that the room was very warm this summer so we had to leave the windows open. The tiny street looks quiet but the noise from the garbage trucks through the night was loud. With the windows closed it was very quiet however. I would stay here again, but possibly better place for the winter months.

I rated Pension Del Mar 5 stars considering they are a one star hotel. Decent sized rooms for the price, very clean, modern and extremely friendly staff. They have double windows but there is still traffic noise. Most rooms use a common bathroom but that is common in Europe and the bathrooms are very clean. Great stay.

Basic accommodation, but newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Very accommodating, even though we arrived outside of concierge times and had to change arrival times more than once due to buses not showing up. The location is great, on a quiet street so no noise issues, but less than a ten minute from old town with all the lively bars. Would very happily stay here on my next trip to San Sebastian.

We stayed in room 01 with shared bathroom at front. When we arrived we were advised the building had moisture problem from roof which they are trying to fix. Room was newly renovated basic clean except for very extensive MOULD. By the time we realised the problem reception had closed. We moved the next day. The owner acknowledged there was a mould problem but did not try to fix it. It was during film festival and he knew he could rent it again for 120 euro per night. We moved to another hotel and paid premium for last minute booking. The room really was no suitable for letting and to have let it knowing the extent of the problem was the wrong thing to do.
