We enjoyed 4 days (wished it had been longer) at this fabulous accommodation-Luis was so helpful always available and our room was large and clean with a balcony to enjoy our surroundings with a cup of coffee, a shared kitchen that was so very well appointed made our stay a joy. So many pintxos bars nearby, also great shopping. it is right in the heart of everything but also so very quiet. I had a review posted incorrectly on booking.com that was for another place we stayed please ignore it and definitely stay here you won’t be disappointed we will be back for sure. EDIT: Changed my review to 3 stars since I am getting my refund AND I got an apology! (But only after saying he should 😅) He should have admitted the mistake and apologized instead of blaming banks! People make mistakes! But having integrity and apologizing goes a long way 👍🏼 EDIT: Booking #6599077916. Deposit was 81.73. Booking cancelled on December 11. My deposit has never been returned. Today is December 29. That makes 19 days. I contacted Booking. com for help. They do not return your deposit although it is free cancellation. They hope you don’t notice.
No deposit returned to us after 18 days of waiting. We have never seen a cancelled booking take this long and it seems that they are hoping we won't notice. This is not an issue from our bank and we would like our money returned.
Perfect location and excellent personal service. They also arranged very convenient parking for us, even though the film festival was on! Clean, comfortable and with a nice breakfast room with free coffee & tea, a toaster and shared refrigerator. Our room had a nice little balcony. They provided excellent pintxos bar recommendations! We would definitely stay here again on our return to San Sebastián.
Of 27 accommodation stays on our big trip so far, this was the best. Perfect location. Very clean, modern, high quality room. Balcony with a view. Great TV with all sorts of options. High speed 5G WiFi. Very comfy bed. Good shower. Shared kitchen where you can make tea. Superb, attentive host who prepared a very thoughtful list of varied recommended tapas bars. Very good value for money.
