Pensión Kursaal

Do not stay! Bed Bugs!!! (Added photos as proof). Had horrible bites all over my body as a result of staying. Hotel ignored my complaints saying these were allergies but its clearly bed bugs. I was itchy for weeks! Avoid staying! The hotel is not safe!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Nothing fancy but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room had a lovely balcony and modern bathroom. The Old Town is about a ten minute walk, and the immediate neighbourhood has lots of nice bars and restaurants. Loved the old fashioned lift!

I stayed at Pension Kursaal my first night in San Sebastián and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. I would have gladly extended my stay if they hadn’t been fully booked the following nights. When the airline lost my suitcase, the staff went above and beyond—receiving the bag after I had checked out and promptly contacting me so I could retrieve it. Their kindness and willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. I truly don’t know what I would have done without them. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Simple but comfortable modern room in an old building. 1st floor with a lift for luggage. Great location with shops, cafes etc on the doorstep. Easy walk across the bridge into old town. Close to beach and transport. Helpful and enthusiastic staff. What more could you want.

Sparkling clean, good size room and bathroom. The staff was very helpful. Walls are a bit thin, so you might hear the cleaning lady in the morning, or hear people entering through the main door, but it's not very loud. We got a balcony and it was great to sit outside. We had a great time and really loved our stay here. Very close to touristic attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Highly recommend.
