The room is OK but smelt very very damp, even though we opened the windows the entire time They say there is a concierge except from 2-4pm. In reality there is no one sitting there majority of the time and they do not respond to messages. We asked to leave our bags there and were told to put them in the staff toilet which seems pretty unhygienic. Location is great though. Ok for a 1 night stay and if you’re not fussy.
Stayed for 3 nights, difficult to find initially, due to all, the underground construction in the surrounding streets. Up on the first floor, check-in and to our room. The pension is literally 5 nuts walf from everywhere you need to be. Quiet place and the receptionist was very helpful with plenty of local information. It was our 3rd trip to San Sebastian and traffic has become more congested. Parking is very expensive, and the park and ride did not get a great writeup in the recommendations. Apart from all that (not the hotels fault) the room was spacious, quiet and peacefull. Definitely go back and revisit. Do not forget to register your car or a big fine will be issued.
The location is great. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very clean. I gave it a 4 because the price seemed high for the amenities offered, no ac and the street was busy to have the windows open. I am rarely in my room when I travel, so I would say 4.5. Would most definitely stay here again.

Had a very nice stay with the friendly & helpful Anna. Rooms ate simpel but very clean and light. Location cannot be beat.
