It was not worth the money. 100e a night. It was clean and shower good. 5 coat hangers for 2 people. Asked for more. No. Single bed, sheet didn't fit, kept coming off. Horrible sewage smell, had to cover plug holes etc up. Outlook terrible. Cleaners only changed bin and cleaned shower glass. Nowhere to put underwear. No drawers. Took my firestick and there was no hdmi port in tv it was so old. There was coffee machine on landing but no kettle for tea. Breakfast included round corner in local bar, adequate. Toast, jam, orange juice and tea/coffee.
Excellent location - only a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and right within old town where all the pintxo bars are. The shower is very small, even for an average/small person like me. Earplugs are a must as the streets can be noisy late into the night and closing the windows makes the room very warm and uncomfortable during late spring/early summer. For the price, you will certainly need to adjust expectations here.
We loved this place! Definitely worth the couple of extra euro for the balcony. Very central location, friendly staff and free coffee and tea. For the price, this was an excellent stay!
Good pension with pleasant and clean - if small - rooms. Minimalist modern design makes it easy, likeable and practical. Nice showers. No air-conditioning. Tiny balcony onto the street. Location at the threshold of the old town very convenient but noisy with the balcony door open for air at night; bring earplugs! No easy parking nearby but the pension offers a discount on nearby underground parking, which makes it a bit less expensive at around 17 Euros per 24 hours. The pension describes the nearest, Okendo, as '2 minutes' away, but in reality it's around 5 minutes walk, which is a fair way when carrying bags. On the plus side once parked we never needed the car again until we left. In retrospect something outside the old town with nearer parking might have suited us better but it did have its charms, and the location did mean dinner and drinks were never far away! Overall a good option, especially for younger couples (with light bags).
Clean pension in a great location. The Spanish speaking staff could not have been any kinder. Although the room are small and the bed was creaky I’d recommend it because of the great people who work there.
