Location Location Location. Walking distance to everything. Staff were excellent. I would rate this as a five star, but climate control for the room is an issue. Our stay was early October 2025, due to the time of year the A/C was turned off for the building. The room became too hot for sleeping.
I've given this accommodation 1 star because we never actually got to stay at this pension as they took our money and then sold the room onto another customer (so effectively got paid twice for the room) . It's taken us 6 months to claw the money back. This Pension have a lack of systems in place for communicating with guests and this totally works in their favour. In our instance we assumed we'd cancelled the room and continued to assume this because they never got in contact again until 9 months later on the day of the booking to say where are you. No coms at all in teh week or two prior to the date of stay letting us know where to come and what to expect which is standard practise for every other holiday business on the planet. Time for them to be a bit more professional and to actually set up systems which will avoid this horrible situation that we have experienced. Totally ruined our weekend away. Shame on you Pension Florida. I can see Im not the first reading through other negative reviews for this accommodation. Hopefully you will change your system to be more honest but some how I doubt it.
Central location, easy to walk to from train station. Great staff, very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and sites to see. Close to the new shopping and the old town. Clean, bright rooms and large bathroom. Highly recommend
I loved my room, the balcony view was nice, the woman who ran the place was very helpful. If you plan to run the city's marathon, you can't find a better place than this. I've never been this close to the starting line and it put me at ease knowing that I was so close and the finish line was also very, very close. Very much enjoyed my experience here and would book the same hotel if I did it again.
An excellent place to stay in San Sebastian. The rooms are smallish but were perfectly roomy for us. Very clean and modern. We could look out from our little balcony to the nearby park and ocean a block away, which was pretty cool. The location is away from the old town, so a bit more quiet, but still within a few minutes walk. And the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful!
