Pensión San Jerónimo

Great spot to stay! The rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean and location just superb. Really no point staying in San Sebastian unless you stay in the old town. The bars downstairs were quite noisy at night but the windows shut out quite a lot of it, so we slept comfortably. The owner offered to do my laundry for free which was very sweet of her and much appreciated! There was no issue sharing bathrooms with other guests - it's only 6 rooms and 3 bathrooms so there was always one available. The only thing is there is no A/C but a working fan. It was ok for us during mid-August because we went on rainy days but I'm not sure how much hotter San Sebastian can get. Overall, would highly recommends staying here.

The rooms were neat and clean, as well as the shared bathrooms. The staff was extremely nice. The rooms are facing a busy street of the old town which is, therefore, very noisy but the windows cut a large part of the noise (earplugs still required). The only downside, not the fault of the owners, were the people in the other rooms. They banged the doors and chatted in the common corridor the whole night. It was impossible to properly sleep. They had absolutely no respect for the other guests.

Amazing and great price! Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the Pension itself is in a perfect location- within walking distance to everything. We LOVED Susana and her husband!! Nicest people ever- we would come back just because of how kind they were to us. Would definitely recommend this place!

We loved it there stayed 9 nights, extremely clean, near the beach lovely staff. Suzanna a wonderful host, would highly recommend

Very clean and thanks to this windows in rooms it's very quiet. The personnal is sweet
